Pigeons Friends!

I just want to say that I feel very lucky to be a member of this SRV club and that the pigeon folks in this area are just great! I am not sure how pigeon clubs in other areas but EVERY member of the SRV club has been very helpful and kind in helping me get up and "flying".

A special Thanks to:
Holland and Jonny for getting me some nice stock birds right from the begining!
Bruce N. for the many wonderful YB he got me this year including 215!
Steave E. for helping to teach me about the clocks and helping out with My YB training!
Kent M for all the insight and help with my loft and YB Training!
Larry W for teaching me about pigeons and going with me on My first Liberation!

Every Member of the club has helped me out and I can't mention all the things that everyone has helped out with but I just wanted to say thank you.

Breeder Loft Remodel (Cocks)

There are 16 nest boxes and only 11 birds, this will hopefully allow for more birds to rest and not have to fight Gandolf (meanest pigeons I have ever seen, he claimed all but 2 next boxes last year and broke many eggs)

Breeder Loft Remodel

This is the new Breeders section (hens all prisoners). It seems that they are calmer and it is easier for them to relax and rest

OB Cocks

So I think these guys are going to get spoiled, but hopefully this will make them return home faster on Race Day!! I still need to put up 1 more bank of nest boxes and I have more cocks that I thought I did!

Inside the Race Loft (OB Hens)

This is set up for 20 OB race hens I might put up more perches so that I could get to 25 hens but the space is really small and I do not need alot of not so good pigeons!

Race Loft

I just completed my race loft (except for the yb section and and the traps and the vents and the heated water system) and moved birds in Last weekend. I am finding it a little more challenging to seperate the cocks from the hens as they are YBs and all of them have not yet fully matured.
